StandardsInternational : IEC 60332-1; UIC 895
National : ASTM B 3; ASTM B 8; ICEA S-93-639; UL 1581
Power distribution in medium voltage. As transformer feeders in substations. In power plants, industrial and operation installations, in residential areas mining installations where high mechanical strength is required. The interlocked aluminum armour gives greater flexibility compared to the traditional steel armour and the type of conformation of the same make has a high resistance to loads that could be placed on it.
1. Conductor: Compact stranded soft copper, class B.
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.
3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (Tree retardant).
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion.
5. Screen: Copper tapes.
6. Separation sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
7. Armour: Interlocked Alumninium tape.
8. Outer sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
Conductor temperature of 90°C for normal operation, 130°C for emergency overload and 250°C for short circuit conditions. Excellent properties against heat aging. Its armour provides additional mechanical protection and provides flexibility compared with other types of armour. Resistance to abrasion; moisture and sunlight. Resistance to combustible liquids and oils according to UIC 895 OR. Fire retardant - type FT4. Resistance to attack by rodents.
INDECO S.A. N2XSEYBAIY (INTERLOCK) 15 kV - Nb. Cores x gauge - Year - Sequential Length.
Non returnable wooden reels.
Insulation: Natural (Cores are identified with binder tapes; colour: white, black, red)
Outer sheath: Black.
ASTM B3: Soft Annealed Copper Wire.
ASTM B8: Concentric-Lay-Stranded copper conductors, hard; medium-hard; or soft.
FT4/IEEE 1202: Vertical Tray Flame Test.
ICEA S-93-639: 5 - 46 kV Shielded Power Cable for use in the transmission and distribution of electric energy.
IEC 60332-1: Test for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable.
UIC 895 OR: Techical specification for the supply of insulated electric cables for railway vehicles - Oil Resistant.
UL 1581 Section 1200 (Sunlight resistance): Reference standard for electrical wires, cables, and flexible cords - Carbon-Arc and Xenon-Arc Tests- Sunlight resistance.
