Description
Application:
Underground power distribution and subtransmission. As transformer feeders in substations. In power plants, industrial and operation installations, in residential areas and mining installations, in dry or wet locations; where mechanical strength is required.
Construction:
1. Conductor: Compact stranded soft copper, class 2 (longitudinally watertight between and over conductor).
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.
3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (Tree retardant).
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion.
5. Screen: Copper tapes.
6. Separation sheath: Compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
7. Armour: Galvanized steel wires.
8. Tape: Polyester tape.
9. Outer sheath: Compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
Main characteristics:
Conductor temperature of 90°C for normal operation, 130°C for emergency overload and 250°C for short circuit conditions. Excellent properties against heat aging. Its armour provides additional mechanical protection. Resistance to abrasion, sunlight and moisture. Adequate resitance to greases and oils. Flame retardant.
Cross section:
70 mm2.
Marking:
INDECO S.A. N2XSEYRY(OL) 8.7/15 kV - Nb. cores x section - Year.
Packing:
Non returnable wooden reels.
Colour:
Insulation: Natural (Core identification with binder tapes: white, black, red).
Outer sheath: Red.
