Medium voltage aerial power distribution. Transformer feeders, power plants, industrial and operation installations, in places where underground networks cannot be possible, mining installations, tree-lined urban zones or with little space.
1. Conductor: Compact stranded soft copper, class 2.
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.
3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (tree retardant).
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion.
5. Screen: Copper tapes.
6. Phase outer sheath: Linear low-density polyethylene LLDPE.
7. Messenger: Galvanized stranded steel wire.
8. Messenger sheath: Linear low-density polyethylene LLDPE.
Conductor temperature of 90ºC for normal operation, 130°C for emergency overload and 250°C for short circuit conditions. Good resistance to traction. Excellent properties against heat aging. Resistance to abrasion, sunlight, weather, ozone, acids, alkalis and other chemical substances at normal temperatures. The outer sheath has the following characteristics: low emission dense smoke and halogen free. Flame retardant.
