Standards
International : IEC 60332-1; UIC 895National : ASTM B 231; ASTM B 3; ASTM B 8; ICEA S-93-639; UL 1581
Description
Application:
Power distribution in medium voltage. As transformer feeders in substations. In power plants, industrial and operation installations, in residential areas mining installations where high mechanical strength is required. The interlocked aluminum armour gives greater flexibility compared to the traditional steel armour and the type of conformation of the same make has a high resistance to loads that could be placed on it.
Construction:
1. Conductor: Compact round 1350 aluminium, class B.
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.
3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (Tree retardant).
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion.
5. Screen: Copper tapes.
6. Bare grounding conductor: Soft copper, class B.
7. Separation sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
8. Armour: Interlocked Alumninium tape.
9. Outer sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
Main characteristics:
Conductor temperature of 90°C for normal operation, 130°C for emergency overload and 250°C for short circuit conditions. Insulation level of 133 %. Excellent properties against heat aging. Its armour provides additional mechanical protection and provides flexibility compared with other types of armour. Resistance to abrasion; moisture and sunlight. Resistance to combustible liquids and oils according to UIC 895 OR. Fire retardant - type FT4. Resistance to attack by rodents.
Gauge:
1/0 AWG.
Marking:
INDECO S.A. NA2XSEYBAIY (INTERLOCK) 15 kV 133% - Nb. Cores x gauge - Year - Sequential Length.
Packing:
Non returnable wooden reels.
Colour:
Insulation: Natural (Cores are identified with binder tapes; colour: white, black, red)
Outer sheath: To customer request.
