StandardsInternational : IEC 60332-1-2; IEC 60684-2; IEC 60754-1; IEC 60754-2; IEC 61034-2
National : ASTM B 8; ICEA S-93-639; ICEA S-94-649; UL 2556
Power distribution in medium voltage. As transformer feeders in substations. In power plants, industrial and operation installations, in residential areas and mining installations, in dry or wet locations.
1. Conductor: Soft copper, class 2 (Longitudinally watertight between and over conductor).
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.
3. Insulation: Ethylene propylene rubber EPR.
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion.
5. Concentric conductor: Copper wires helically applied. (1/3) Concentric neutral according to ICEA S-94-649 (longitudinally watertight under and over concentric conductor).
6. Outer sheath: High Dendsity Polyethylene HDPE/UV.
Excellent properties against heat aging. Insulation level of 133%. The outer sheath has the following characteristics: low emission dense smoke and halogen free. Resistance to abrasion, moisture and sunlight. Adequate resistance to greases and oils. Flame retardant.
