Description
Application:
Underground power distribution and subtransmission. As transformer feeders in substations. In power plants, industrial and operation installations, in residential areas and mining installations, in dry or wet locations, where mechanical strength is required, for instalation in vertical drilling mines.
Construction:
1. Conductor: Compact stranded soft copper, class 2.
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.
3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (Tree retardant).
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion.
5. Screen: Copper tapes.
6. Separation sheath: Compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
7. Armour: Galvanized steel wires.
8. Fire protection tape.
9. Outer sheath: Anti-flame and anti-termite compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
Main characteristics:
Excellent properties against heat aging. Its armour provides additional mechanical protection. Resistance to abrasion, moisture and sunlight. Resistance to liquid fuels and oils according to UIC 895 OR. Resistance to sulfuric acid according to SAE J1127. Does not spread the fire according to IEC 60332-3 CAT A. Low halogen content according to IEC 60754-1. Resistant to gasoline GR I according to UL 44. Resistance to attack by termites
