Power distribution in medium voltage. As transformer feeders in substations. In power plants, industrial and operation installations, in residential areas and mining installations, in dry or wet locations.
1. Conductor: Compact soft copper, class B (with longitudinally watertight between and over the core conductor).
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded compound.
3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (Tree retardant).
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion in dry cure process.
5. Screen: Copper wires (with longitudinally watertight under and over the screen).
6. Radial watertight: Single-ply aluminium tape.
7. Outer sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC, with anti-rodent compound.
Excellent properties against heat aging. To 133% for insulation level. Longitudinally watertight between and over the core conductor; and under and over the screen; radial watertight under the outer sheath. Resistance to abrasion, moisture and sunlight. Resistance to liquid fuels and oils according to UIC 895 OR. Resistance to sulfuric acid according to SAE J1127. Low halogen content according to IEC 60754-1. Resistant to gasoline GR I according to UL 44. Fire retardant according to IEEE 1202/FT-4. Resistance to attack by rodents.
