Description
Application
Power distribution in medium voltage, direct application in places with public attendance high where high mechanical strength is required.
Construction
1. Conductor: Compact stranded soft copper, class 2.
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.
3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (Tree retardant).
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion in dry cure process.
5. Screen: Copper wires.
6. Tape: Polyester tape.
7. Separation sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
8. Layer armour: Aluminium 1350 wires.
9. Tape: longitudinally watertight under and over the armour.
10. Outer sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
Main characteristics
Longitudinally watertight between and over armour. Its armour provides additional mechanical protection. Resistance to abrasion, moisture and sunlight. Resistance to liquid fuels and oils according to UIC 895 OR. Resistance to sulfuric acid according to SAE J1127. Low halogen content according to IEC 60754-1. Resistant to gasoline GR I according to UL 44. Fire retardant according to IEEE 1202/FT-4.
