Power distribution in medium voltage. As transformer feeders in substations. In power plants, industrial and operation installations, in residential areas mining installations where high mechanical strength is required. The interlocked aluminum armour gives greater flexibility compared to the traditional steel armour and the type of conformation of the same make has a high resistance to loads that could be placed on it. Class I, Div.2 and Class II, Div.2 hazardous locations per NEC.
1. Conductor: Compact stranded soft copper, class B.
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.
3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (Tree retardant).
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion in dry cure process.
5. Screen: Copper tapes.
6. Bare grounding conductor: Compact soft copper, class B.
7. Separation sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
8. Armour: Interlocked Alumninium tape.
9. Outer sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
Excellent properties against heat aging. Insulation level of 133%. Its armour provides additional mechanical protection and provides greater flexibility compared with other types of armour. Resistance to abrasion, moisture and sunlight. Resistance to liquid fuels and oils according to UIC 895 OR. Resistance to sulfuric acid according to SAE J1127. Low content of acid gases according to CSA 22.2 AG14. Resistant to gasoline GR I according to UL 44. Fire retardant according to CSA C22.2 No 2556/FT-4. Resistance to attack by rodents.
