XLPE/S; ICEA S-93-639 - RETIE
Description
Description
Application
Power distribution in medium voltage. As transformer feeders in substations. In power plants, industrial and operation installations, in residential areas and mining installations, in dry or wet locations.
CONSTRUCTION
1. Conductor: Compact stranded aluminium 1350, class B (longitudinally watertight between core conductor).
2. Inner semi-conductor: Extruded.
3. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE-TR (Tree retardant).
4. External semi-conductor: Extruded strippable.
These last three components extruded CV (continuous vulcanization) triple extrusion in dry cure process.
5. Concentric conductor: Copper wires helically applied. Concentric neutral according to ICEA S-94-649 (longitudinally watertight under and over concentric conductor).
6. Outer sheath: HDPE High density polyethylene.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
Excellent properties against heat aging. Longitudinally watertight between core conductor; and under and over concentric conductor. Resistance to abrasion, moisture and sunlight. Adequate resistance to greases and oils. Flame retardant.
GAUGE
From 3/0 AWG up to 1250 kcmil.
MARKING
INDECO BY NEXANS NA2XC2Y(2OL) 35 kV - Gauge - NC(Number) - Year - Sequential length.
PACKING
Non returnable wooden reels.

RECOMMENDATION - M.V. CABLE ACCESSORIES
Technical information presented herein is for referential purposes. Actual dimensions and construction details will be available only with the test reports for each manufacturing order. For "Make To Stock" products it is recommended to measure relevant dimensions directly on the cable. Nexans will not assume responsibility for connector selection.
PE sheathed cables
Consider Low Smoke Density characteristic of IEC 61034-2 only for cables with Red jacket.
